Nari Matti (She/Her/Hers)
It can be challenging yet courageous to make the decision to seek support and talk about your life circumstances. Nari offers a warm and compassionate stance to support you in this process. She recognizes that building a trusted relationship creates the foundation needed to enable positive change and towards living a more fulfilling life.
Nari puts the client at the centre of everything she does. She believes that therapy is about working together to support you in reaching your goals. She draws from a variety of treatment approaches in order to support the unique needs that each person brings to therapy. In her clinical work, she has experience utilizing cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based techniques.
Nari completed her Master of Social Work with specialization in mental health at the University of Toronto. She has worked in family health teams and in hospitals providing a wide range of services to teens and adults struggling with a variety of mental health challenges. She has experience supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, emotional instability, and stress.
