Female counsellor, Robyn Horst, providing virtual therapy in London Ontario

Get to Know Robyn

Robyn Horst is a Registered Social Worker who feels honoured to hold space for her clients to tell their stories. Her previous work in the areas of disability, mental health and addictions and motor vehicle accidents has contributed to her person-centered, trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to working with individuals, couples and families.

Robyn brings a warm, authentic energy to her work and eclectically uses modalities including EMDR, Flash Technique, Client-Centered, Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Robyn acknowledges that we tend to focus on our most difficult life experiences, but sometimes what is even worse is how we view ourselves after. As your therapist, she will create a safe, authentic space for you to reconnect with parts of yourself that have become distant and quiet due to your need to respond to life’s challenges. Together you will develop strategies to regulate and calm your body and mind. Robyn will support you to explore themes of purpose, shame, attachment, self-esteem, belonging, identity and trauma. She looks forward to connecting and walking alongside you as you take your next step in your wellness journey.
