Consultation and Supervision Services
Please contact admin@risinginsightcounselling.com to inquire about the below services.
Clinical supervision, as defined by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), is “a contractual relationship in which a clinical supervisor engages with a supervisee to discuss the direction of therapy and the therapeutic relationship; promote the professional growth of the supervisee; enhance the supervisee’s safe and effective use of self in the therapeutic relationship; and safeguard the well-being of the client.” We offer clinical supervision to any professional who is practicing psychotherapy, and our supervisors meet the CRPO’s requirements of a supervisor, allowing the supervision sessions to be used for registration purposes.
Supervision
Consultation services are available for clinicians and practices, and do not need to be on-going meetings. Consultations are helpful for clinicians who may be learning a new area of concerns or therapeutic techniques, and the clinician is looking for support from someone with greater experience with that concern. Our consultants have particular training and experience working with LGBTQIA+ folx, grief, trauma, attention disorders, and relationships (couples and polyamory relationships).
Consultation
We offer customized mental health workshops and lectures to organizations and teams. Our presenters will meet with you to determine the needs of the audience and create content that lays foundational information in the area you are wanting to learn about. Based on the requested information, it may be recommended that there be a series of lectures and workshops, to scaffold learning and assess learning outcomes.
