Emma is a Registered Social Worker who works with individuals, families, and youth and has experience in the areas of brain injury and disability, domestic violence, parental support and the LGBTQ2+ community. She provides counselling and therapy to individuals looking for support with mental health concerns like anxiety and depression, grief and loss, relationship stress, as well as folks exploring gender identity or sexuality, or working on overall wellness or goals.
Emma uses an eclectic approach to suit each client’s needs, utilizing techniques from various theoretical approaches including Strengths Based and Feminist approaches, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
