Get to Know Kimberly

Originally, I had no name for it. There were not the words available at the time, at least any that fit me. I followed the crowd fitting the stories and words of others around me. Religious, studious, gregarious, social, straight, male. What I found out through years of struggle and reappraisal were my own stories and words to live by. Through this long journey, I found growth and joy from helping those who were struggling as I had, striving to claim themselves as I had, or trying to move themselves away from the confined definitions others as I had. I loved this work and made it my goal to train myself further on how I could be the bridge for others. A bridge from the now to the possible. Take my hand and let us cross that bridge together.

My years of learning and practice have given me a very eclectic approach to therapy. Whether its for youth, adults, couples, those in transition, struggling with their identity, struggling with their mental health, struggling in accepting themselves, I approach you were you are and try to help find where you want to be. It can be a long and challenging journey, and I’d be happy to be your guide.
